Happy Birthday, daddy! :)
Do you remember this picture? This was during my time at creative learning. My school was having this short play and I was originally cast as a doctor. But then, my teacher gave my role away to another girl so my doctor’s coat was taken from me. I cried a lot that day. They broke my little heart by casting me as the native girl that needs rescuing. I thought I was downgraded but my dad told me otherwise. He said that out of all the roles in the play, mine was the most important because unlike them, I was representing a nation… our nation. He told me to love my roots more and that I should be proud of it.
Well dad, I am proud and I do love where I came from. Thank you for teaching me this important lesson so early in life. :)
I hope you have an awesome day today. Hehe. I usually hate posting stuff with feelings but since today is your big day, I’m making an exception.
